Who They Are

Cutting Edge Lawn & Landscape is a locally owned and operated full-service landscaping company providing design, installation, and maintenance throughout Wichita, Kansas and surrounding areas. They specialize in not just upkeep, but educating property owners on how to achieve a vibrant landscape throughout the season.

Cutting Edge reached out to Wichita Designs several years ago after struggling to get anywhere with their Google rankings. They had worked with a couple of other firms, and been given a laundry list of promises, but received nothing but excuses as to why customers were not able to find their business anywhere on Google.

After researching their website and their core demographic, we were quickly able to establish their website had some technical issues, but the main problem was that they were in a saturated market with many other players all trying to ‘game’ Google.

By focusing on creating a great user experience, building trust with users, and a website that users would actually want to revisit to seek the latest in tips and tricks for their lawn, we were able to help Cutting Edge soar to the top of the search rankings relatively fast. Today they rank on the first page of Google for all of their core services, and rank nationally for many search terms as well, generating nearly 2,000 website views daily during their peak season.

To help drive business, we devised a strategy geared towards collecting customer information and nurturing leads over time. As a result, the business has hired more employees just to keep up.

To track return on their investment, we also implemented call tracking. Now the business has realtime data on what pieces of marketing are leading to actual phone calls.
