Who They Are

Hoggatt Cleaning & Restoration is a family-owned emergency water damage mitigation business located in Valley Center, Kansas that services most of Wichita and the surrounding area. They also specialize in carpet cleaning, mold removal, junk removal, and tile and grout cleaning.

This website posed in interesting challenge. How do we frame things like water and sewage leaks, in a sexy and desirable package? The business owner was fortunately open to ideas and it provided us with a blank slate to work with.

The branding they were using for the business was already adorable. Harry The Hog, a character hand-drawn by the business owner himself, has adorned this business from the beginning, and we had absolutely no problem keeping it that way, but we decided to unify the use of bold and vibrant colors throughout for consistency.

After researching their website and their core demographic, we were quickly able to establish their existing ‘DIY’ website had some technical issues. The main culprits were difficulty in navigation, and slow load times.

One thing we also spotted quickly was that although they had some great reviews on Google and Twitter, they didn’t have any video testimonials. We acted quickly to coordinate with their clients for an in-house video shoot.

To track return on their investment, we also implemented call tracking (a service we offer free to clients). Now the business has actionable data on what marketing pieces are actually moving the needle rather than throwing mud at the wall. 😉
